Memaw and Pawpa left and Benjie wouldn't be home for hours. Creighton and I created his own meal: all his food with the letter C.

Cowboys at the Coffee Shop Cafe

Benjie went out of town on his annual hunting trip and I recurited my grandparents to come help out with the boys! The weather was turning cold and if left alone, I may get cabin fever. They came and we had a grand time! We enjoyed our Letter of the Week Field Trip to the Coffee Shop Cafe with Creighton and Pawpa dressed in their cowboy best. Aren't they just too cute!

I wish it wasn't already possible for this little guy to be sitting up in the bath on his own. Slow down, please!

Chilin'

When did this kid just become a chiller? He just pleasantly hung out with me today while I put away clothes and such in his room. I love him so!

My LIfe Has Been Changed

I got an Iphone today. Everything I could ever want or need right in my finger tips! Email, texting, the Bible, Words with Friends, a camer and so the list goes on and on!

Just Another Day

We're back at the doctor's office. Can't remember why...cold, ear infection, fever, allergies. Who knows!

Letter of the Week: C

We started our first Letter of the Week series! We're working through identifying {and maybe writing} the letters of the ABC. We're starting with C and going through Creighton's entire name and then will cover the remaining eleven letters.

Goin' To Church In Style

Our {almost} weekly stop at Sonic {or the donut shop} on the way to church for an Apple Juice Slush {only after we shot down the idea for a chocolate milkshake at 9 am} made even cooler by Daddy's old, one dollar shades.

Cheerin' On Our Bears

These boys love Baylor Basketball games like nothing else and can cheer for the players by name.

By Day and By Night

Playgroup at the Zoo. Meeting Brusier in person at a birthday party. Oh goodness. A big highlight of his life!

Both boys took LONG naps today. At the same time. And when I mean LONG, I mean four hour long. More than all of Griffin's naps combined over the past five months!

Dinner Was Easy Tonight

And this kid ate every bite without hassle. We didn't even have to mutter, "Eat at least two more bites before you can be excused."

This precious, got some cuddle time with anyone and everyone that would sit and hold onto him.

This kid got to play basketball, real basketball, with Steph and Memaw- not to mention, run out of the "pretend" smoke like his Baylor players.

This guy turned fifty and got a homemade dessert he loves. Only his wife, my aunt, says it's been at least twenty years since she's made it! Must be love.

Happiness.

Nothing says happiness like a little boy jumping on a bed at Mimi and Pop-Pop's, or anywhere for that matter!

All Smiles

These boys are all smiles in the company of Mimi and Pop-Pop! This momma is too, especially when they lend a little hand and maybe, just maybe let me...sleep in! And so you know, no noise, absolutely no sound comes with this smile!

Benjie went on his annual weekend hunt with his buds and the boys and I {along with the breathing treatment} made a trip to Abilene to stay the night with my parents.

Light Through My New Lens

Through my new lens, I see these two, dare I say, blessings in a new light! My heart swells.

RSV

This little bundle of tears was diagnosed with RSV and put on breathing treatments. But even more tugging to my heartstrings was this big brother, so concerned and sad for his little brother.

5 months

Five months ago today, this little man entered our life and we won't ever be the same. Griffy, you have made our family! And after five months of nursing {which happened to end mostly today}, I can finally eat cereal again!

Big Boy Bike

Santa brought a green "dirt bike" that was a bit too big. Creighter Bug went with Daddy and decided to trade it in for this blue "dirt bike." The speedometer did him in! Bless his heart, he's growing up too quickly.
