Family Friday Fun Night

Creighton has really been into all things "family!" Tonight we all sat outside while he and Daddy played some baseball. Adventures like this make me realize how grown up he's becoming and how much fun the new season will be when he's into sports. He loves playing outside. And while he played baseball, Griffy just learned to crawl without touching the ground.And then, he thanked God for the wonderful weather and family time and the dead deer in our backyard!

Third Time Is A Charm

Or so they say! This was the third location, the third time I've drug these precious babies to take pictures in the Texas state flower. For what reason, I'm not sure?!?! Still not a "perfect" picture, but Creighton is hoping this was the last time he had to endure this torture.

There's A First Time for Everything

Griffy had his first go about with a fresh mixed berry popsicle. He wouldn't hold the stick, but he sure did love the taste! Mmmmm. Burrr. What a mess! The baby and the popsicle.

Baby Story TIme

Our baby story time at the public library ended today. As you can see, Griffin had a great time. He crawled, ate on our name tag and made a Mommy very tired!

How to Get Rid of A Pie

Remove the homemade chocolate pie from the fridge.
Cover the top of the pie with cool whip.
Provide a spoon.
Locate a three year old.
Set no boundries.
Watch him gobble it up!

Now the mommy and daddy don't have dieter remorse.
We trashed it after he finished!

What A Bunch!

A bunch of precious little tots that I love so very much! Our supper club group minus a few! Next time we're all together, we'll aim for another group picture. We're adding a new little one to the group in a few weeks too! Not us, but the Stewarts!

The View of My World

This little stinker pot has become quite the momma's boy. He insists on being held or in my view most of the day. Makes any attempt at staying on a schedule difficult, not to mention housework, but his desire to be near me, sure does melt my heart. I love him oh, so!
Could you resist that face, those eyes, that smile? Or the {not so} tender pats he gives once he's in my arms, or the recent discovery of biting on my shoulders? Either way, you wouldn't be able to leave him alone either. He's priceless!

Happy 72nd

All twelve of us surprised Pawpa this morning for a bus ride with a balloon and a cupcake for his birthday. We love you Peeps!

Farewell

We drove to Abilene to watch Benjie's dad say farewell to AISD tonight in a reception honoring his service to the community and the children of Abilene. After thirty two years, he will retire in June.

Parker's Party

We had a little surprise birthday party for our favorite {almost} three year old! Happy {almost} birthday Parker! We love you!

BabyG's Playgroup

We met at our house this time for Griffy's playgroup and when Ainsley showed up, Griffin wanted to offer her lots of kisses. Too cute!

Grand Ole Time

Mimi and Pop-Pop drove to Waco to bring Deacon for the day. I met up with Aunt Kristi in College Station to return him to his family! I love living in the middle of my family!

Zoo Day

When Benjie worked in Abilene yesterday, we invited Mammy to venture back to Waco with him and join us today on our Zoo outing. The weather was perfect and we had a great afternoon!

Can't Be, Not Possible, Not Right Now

This little one, GBaby, has been up to a bit more mischief. Right after he ate dinner, shirtless, he decided to try out this toy.

"Mom, I think I may walk behind this toy!"

"Or maybe, I'll just let go with both hands and stand until I need to grab back on for support." "Do you think I'm doing something wrong, Mom? I actually think it's pretty fun!"

Can You Guess?

Can you guess what happened to Griffin after this picture was snapped? Poor thing, he face planted right into the field of bluebonnets. Who are we to assume a three year old can hold him up? After the second time that happened, we packed up and went home!

Park Play

Clark and Griffin spent some time sharing a bottle and playing at the park today after we picked up the big kids at school. We had a great time with everyone and loved how quickly our pre-evening hours were filled with fun!

Closure

Tonight we attended the Baylor Basketball Banquet. We said our final good-bye to a team that brought us such special memories. Being elite was great and we hope only the best for the players, the coaches and the new team we will be cheering on next season!

Attention, You Say?

From aunts and uncles, grannies and grandpas, cousins and anyone who seemed the least bit interested, Griffin was passed around and held and taken from here to there. He loved {almost} every minute, but was glad to be back on the ground! Cuddle time with Steph. Real green beans and baby food with Sarah. Boat time with Mimi and all the onlookers!

Great Grandma's 90th Birthday

We traveled to Abilene to celebrate with my Great Grandma Donald and our family for her 90th birthday coming up this month. What a great gift we were given when God put her at the top of my family line! What a blessing!

Fighters!

Deacon is still in Waco with us and has really become a great playmate for Creighton. They {for the most part} get along really, really well. They wanted to play Super Man fighters tonight after dinner.

A New Look

The mule has a new look. Creighton has attached the red wagon to the back with one of Benjie's old belts to serve as a trailor to his work truck. Always something, but always more fun with family and friends. Deacon and Parker joined us on this outside play day!

Big Helper

Creighton insisted on feeding Griffin his bottle today. Whatever works and frees up my hands & time! Thanks big brother!

Annual Egg Hunt

We all went to our annual Easter Egg Social with our Sunday School class tonight. The weather was WONDERFUL and we had a great time picnicking and socializing with friends.
